Inner Mongolia Attacked by Mob - China’s Inner Mongolia checkpoint has been attacked by a large mob. It was around 100 attackers who beat staff and destroyed buildings. The area is known for its ethnic conflict between the Han Chinese and Mongolians.

Threats Against Pope Francis - Dec 2 four people in Kosovo and two in Italy were detained by Kosovan and Italian police for allegedly taking part in Islamic State operations. Kosovar nationals who travelled to Syria to fight for country led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi are now accused of making threats against Pope Francis.

Woody Allen Museum in Barcelona - One of the main landmarks of Barcelona’s gothic quarter - Picasso art school - is being turned into a museum devoted to the film director Woody Allen. However, a trade union movement of the capital of Catalonia is campaigning to stop work in the building claiming that it should stay an educational establishment it has been since 1775.

Yemen Unrest - Islamic State claimed full responsibility for the attack that killed the governor of Aden in southern Yemen. Aden governor and six of his bodyguards allegedly died in a car explosion. Authorities are yet to announce the exact cause. IS has been present in Yemen ever since the civil war broke out.

Paris Climate Talks - Many say the Paris Summit is more effective than the one five years ago in Copenhagen. The first draft has been drafted a full week of work. Still though, nothing has yet been finalized since there is a great disparity between the poorer nations’ emphasis on the locked-in climate change and more affluent countries’ urge of proper account of the progress made in reducing emission.

Museum for Spanish Galleon Discovery - President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos announced establishment of a museum dedicated to the artifacts discovered after the wreckage of a Spanish galleon. A team of international experts, the Colombian navy and the country’s archaeology institute came across the wreck two weeks ago close to the island of Baru.
