According to an email sent out by the NYU Shanghai administration, due to concerns from parents, the university will pivot to online learning until February 17th to finish construction.

Students will no longer have access to the campus during this time as construction takes place during the day. Along with this implementation, shuttle bus services will also be suspended during this time, and services will resume when students are allowed to return.

Additionally, NYU Shanghai Residental Life will offer study spaces near the dorms to help accommodate the switch to online learning. These spaces include individual and group study rooms as well as other services like free coffee and Wi-Fi.

For specific information regarding the location and features of the new study spaces, please check the email sent out by NYU Shanghai Resident Life yesterday, February 5th.

As the situation continues to change, administration will still be offering daily updates through the NYU Shanghai Enterprise WeChat account as well as general updates that will be sent out via email next week.
