The street that is synonymous with late night drinking and next day regrets serves up a great breakfast to get through your morning hangover. Hungry Lung’s Kitchen is located at the very end of the street and serves up all the classic breakfast foods you expect: from omelets to bacon, it has it all at a reasonable price that is very rare for other brunch places in the city. A hearty breakfast or brunch can be had for about 60 kuai and all the breakfast menu items included coffee or juice. The omelets are large and fluffy while the bacon is nice and crispy. The really isn’t a wrong item to order off of the menu because everything is delicious. The vibe and the overall restaurant isn’t as Instagram –esque as many of the other brunch offerings in Shanghai but after a long night on Yongkang perhaps you won’t have the energy to be taking that perfect Instagram shot.
