The United States has an important election on November 5th! Did you know that voting from abroad is a simple 3-step process? Our goal is to make it as convenient and fun as possible for all American citizens 18 and up at our university to participate in this election.

Here’s how you can vote from abroad:

  1. Register to vote from abroad and request a ballot through the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) Link :
  2. Receive and fill out your ballot once it arrives 30-45 days before Election Day.
  3. Send your completed ballot back in time to be counted.

Some states allow this process to be done completely digitally while others require documents mailed in. See your state requirements.

Over the next few weeks, NYU Votes is hosting several events, including weekly tabling sessions and Information Sessions with the U.S. consulate. If you are interested in learning more or need help with voting, join our WeChat group chat.
