Elections at NYUSH
For the second time this year, NYUSH students have cast their votes for student government. Since the first round of government, there have been many changes made to the structure of student government. For one, the original decision to have three different vice presidents (one for the Chinese students, one for the American students, and one for the International students) has been modified in attempt to break down implied barriers between said groups. With this election, there will only be two vice presidents, but with no nationality requirements. These new positions include a Mandarin Fluent Vice President and Vice President. However, another position has been added, called the Global Vice President, this person will work to incorporate the various campuses of NYU's Global Network University. All in all, it has been an interesting election. On May 14th afternoon, the results were announced. They are as follows:
President: Roxanne Roman
Vice Presidents: Michael Lukiman and Kiki Shen
Global Vice President: Kenny Song
Executive Secretary: Maggie Walsh
Executive Treasurer: Jiachen Gong (George)
SLR Committee Chair: Sheng Gu (Shawn)
SLR Committee Vice Chairs: Nicole Chan and Tony Shao
Programming Committee Chair: Meizhi Ng
Programming Committee Vice Chairs: Che Wang (Watcher) and Chenyao Cai (Louise)
Clubs Committee Chair: Richard Zhao
Clubs Committee Vice Chairs: Yuxin Tong (Inez) and Ying Wang
