Checkmate at Lunch: Champ Challenges Vice Chancellor

Encountering Vice Chancellor Jeffrey Lehman at the chess board is not your typical lunchtime occurrence at Magnolia House on the third floor of NYU Shanghai. But there he was Wednesday in competition with 14-year-old William Ge, a US Chess Team player and NYU sophomore. William is studying away at NYU Shanghai and beating the vice-chancellor at chess. Out of two rounds, William won the first round, and Vice Chancellor Lehman won the second round while William was blindfolded.
