Huludao and Beijing
This is the sea in Qinhuangdao. The weather there during the break was the best of a year.

I hiked up Huangshan for 4 hours, when hiking down it was completely dark and scary. Luckily, I met a Chinese family and hiked down with them safely!

Hangzhou
The sunshine before the storm. My friends and I were walking through the forest in Hangzhou when we stopped to enjoy this view. Later that evening, we got caught in a crazy rainstorm, but instead of letting it ruin our night, we ran and danced in the rain.

We skipped the busy trails and wandered on our own, stopping whenever we felt like it to lie down and take in the views. No plan, no crowds, just us and nature, and it was so nice.

Shanghai
Between Shanghai’s rainy days, I made the most of the only sunny day to visit Longhua Temple. Alone, and with no idea how to use the metro! But reaching the temple brought peace and relief. I followed the Chinese aunties in their prayers, joining in the cultural rituals, and felt like I belonged. No one cared how anyone looked, acted, or prayed. The only downside? A 21K walk later that day after being spiritually charged.

Bombay
This is a photo of the Mumbai Sea Link Bridge, which connects South Bombay to North Bombay. It is a popular place to go for a drive with friends because of the beautiful sea views. I especially enjoy driving across it at night, when the bridge and the city are lit up.

A wonderful hotel in Anji. Was exploring the area and found out you could do hiking within the hotel. Absolutely recommend to go, relax and touch the actual grass!
