Improvements in Progress: Improving the process of obtaining doctor’s notes from Health and Wellness; Improving the dining hall by labeling food ingredients, offering halal options, and regulating food temperature; Providing bicycles at 268; Negotiating for sports facilities at YuanShen Stadium; Foosball in Motel 268 and ping pong in the Academic Building; Installing vending machines in Motel 268; Moving vending machines to more convenient areas in the academic building; Adding 2 clocks to each classroom; Addressing kitchen concerns; Routine AC and curtain cleaning. What has been improved: Initiated the drinking water program in the dorms, Fixed the dryer machines in the laundry room; Fixed lights in the Motel 268 study room; Instituted the communal cleaning supplies program; Installed recycling bins in the Academic Building;

Event Programming Committee

Upcoming Events: Carnival of the Dead: Carnival of the Dead (死亡嘉年华) is NYU Shanghai’s October Celebration where we celebrate Halloween, Ghost Festival, Día de Muertos and others. This exciting event will be taking place on October 31st in the Academic Building.

Executive Board

NYU Shanghai Student Government Summit On Saturday, October 18th the student government representatives from nine local universities were welcomed at NYU Shanghai to build inter-university relationships. Club Leaders were invited to meet and network with local universities in order to improve their club’s events. Tea Talks Who do you want to have tea talks with? Send Student Government your requests! Yale-NUS Delegation The Yale-NUS Basketball team will be visiting NYU Shanghai on the weekend of October 31st to visit our school and play a game against our basketball team. Their basketball team is accompanied by delegates from their newspaper, student government, and LGBTQ organizations. Mascot Search The search for the school mascot is on! More news to come.
