Outfit of the Week: Candy Qiyun Zhang, Class of ‘20

OCA City Lights Editor continues her Outfit of the Week series at the AB.

“I personally relate fashion a lot to art and painting, since I’m very interested in that too. I look at clothes and fashion in a very artistic way to see what I’m drawn to. I’m careful with my style, and usually shop more high quality and rare things, that are less common and more stylish and individual.”“I think that what we choose to wear is not just related to what we just like visually, but it also reflects our personality or attitude towards life in general. When your attitude is positive, obviously you want to wear something bright and inspiring. Personally, like when I’m traveling I try to look at the culture and environment to where I go, to wear something that fits that style. For example, when I travelled to Russia I saw the beautiful architecture and wore some red color clothes and stuff, to fit that. But on a daily basis, I wear stuff that relates to my mood at that time. And on Friday’s I try to look extra nice, since it’s finally the end of the week!”
