NYU Shanghai Goes Scary - Carnival of the Dead marked the 2015 Halloween at NYU Shanghai. The organizing team came together and worked very hard to make sure everyone left the Academic Building terrified. Students took part in a Costume Fashion Show, a Horror Movie screening, various games and competitions, and, of course, the Haunted House. For those who failed to show up to the event, you missed the Donald Trump with Mao Zedong appearance and the Sherpa’s delivery man with Wagas.
Sci-fi Technology is a reality - Skype Translator is a new Skype feature soon to be available to everyone. To make things clear, it has been around for a year now, but it has only been on beta. This now means that you will be able to translate six different languages, English, Spanish, Mandarin, French, German and Italian, in voice and some in text. I guess that sci-fi sometimes can predict the future!
Chinese Investing in the US - A Chinese investment holding company based in Shandong province allegedly signed an agreement to purchase Texas oil fields.The current market value is at 8.3 billion Chinese RMB ($1.3 billion). They did receive a green light from Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
Wreckage of The Disappeared U.S. Ship Discovered - It is believed that the cargo ship El Faro which disappeared on October 1st has been found. A month later the ship was detected at 15,000 feet just off of the Bahamas coast. All 33 members are believed to be American citizens.

As one of the very authoritarian regimes, Azerbaijan’s government elite led by Ilham Aliyev has been in power since 2003. The barely existent opposition complained about fairness of the elections and the lack of opportunities for promotion and broadcasting.
