  1. Your Guide to NYUSH’s Mental Health Resources

    Health and Wellness for NYUSH has two dedicated tracks with regular programming that will be outlined below. Additionally, NYU New York runs in-person and virtual programming, perfect for our go-local students, those in various time zones, and Shanghai-based students looking for early morning or late-night events. Finally, NYUSH’s Athletics and Fitness team has some programming that can help with de-stressing.

  2. Ally Week 2021 Recap

    Following the NYU tradition, NYU Shanghai hosted its 5th annual Ally Week from November 8th to 12th. Events ranged from the impact of food on society to gender power dynamics at universities to the struggles trans people experience in China.

  3. Peng Qingyu: Art and the Notion of Home

    Born and raised in Suzhou, China, Peng Qingyu (彭青羽) '23 is a junior at NYU Shanghai studying math. Though, they are most often found squatting on the streets of Shanghai or the in the IMA Lab sketching. As their heart lies in the arts, they have dabbled in photography, sculpture, and everything in between.

  4. A Guide for Your Golden Week Staycation

    With Golden Week arriving soon, the halls of NYUSH are filled with students discussing their plans for the break. Some students have applied for travel exemptions spanning some, or all, of the break. Others are staying in Shanghai to circumvent a possible 21-day quarantine if their travel location becomes a medium-risk area. For those staying, we have asked some upperclassmen their favorite places around Shanghai. Students listed a collection of parks and attractions across the city in order to make your break more exciting.
